An IMF mission will arrive in Romania on April 27 for one week to evaluate whether the country complied with all requirements assumed in the stand by agreement, IMF representative for Romania and Bulgaria Tonny Lybek said. The IMF mission will meet representatives of the goverment but also union leaders and bank representatives, a press release of the IMF reads.

The evaluation of the agreement might get on the desk of the IMF board in late June, when the fifth instalment, worth 850 million euro is due to be recieved. The IMF released the third and fourth instalments for Romania, which is about 2.4 billion euro.

Romania has an agreement with the IMF for two years for 12.95 billion euro.
