Romania's Environment Ministry has announced that the ash cloud caused by the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull volcano would not affect Romania on Monday. It also announced that within the next 24 hours the maximum limits of acceptable polluting substances in air caused by the volcanic ash cloud would not be exceeded.
Tendencies reported over the past several days remain as upper limit values for polluting indices are not exceeded. the ministry announced.
It said it was permanently monitoring the evolution of the ash cloud and the concentration of ash particles in the air.
