Prosecutors decided to reject the request submitted by the National Integrity Agency to investigate PSD Senate Speaker Mircea Geoana for false in declarations, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs, quoting political sources.
The court admitted Mircea Geoana's recourse on May 4. In January, the National Integrity Agency submitted a complaint against the Senate's Speaker Mircea Geoana for false in declarations related to his purchase of one apartment and two parking lots worth 733.000 euro. Goeana said that the action against him is a political vendetta.
