Finance Minister Sebastian Vladescu and Interior Minister Vasile Blaga will organize a press conference today on measures to counter fiscal evasion. The two ministers will talk about measures to be implemented to counter fiscal evasion and the effects of the government's ordinance modifying the Fiscal Code. The ordinance was published on Monday in the Official Journal and sees the increase the VAT to 24%.
The National Defense Council decided to elaborate a common action plan together with institutions responsible to counter fiscal evasion.
