President Traian Basescu signed, on Tuesday night, the decree passing the la containing some austerity measures meant to re-establish budgetary balance and some measures regulating pensions. On Tuesday, the two Chambers of the Parliament modified the two laws for which the government assumed responsibility.
Senators and Deputies passed the reports of the judicial committees in the two chambers and deleted the articles considered unconstitutional by the constitutional court. The Constitutional Court decided that article 9 from the austerity measures laws, regulating the budget is unconstitutional.
The article referred to a 15% in pensions.
