Several streets and houses in the Black Sea port city of Constanta were flooded on Friday after 12 hours of pouring, according to Romanian news agency Mediafax. By Friday afternoon, authorities had received 200 requests for help as water was flowing into their households or risked so as their streets were flooded. Authorities issued an orange code for heavy rain for the northern part of Constanta county for Friday afternoon, according to Realitatea TV news channel.

Road traffic was difficult in several parts of Constanta city today. One street was closed.

Port activities were also affected due to rain and several port operators halted their activity temporarily.
