Gheorghe Stancu, Civil Law professor at the Hyperion University, Faculty of Law, was temporary arrested on Thursday for 29 days by Timis magistrates at the request of anti-graft prosecutors, a press release informs.

Anti-graft prosecutors disposed a 24 hour arrest of the professor and on Thursday, the court decided to temporary arrest him. Gheorghe Stancu is accused that in May 2010 as a coordinator of bachelor degrees and member in the committee awarding degrees he received from 35 students 52.500 euro to favor the students with higher grades.
