A 26 year old man, from Podu Iloaiei, nearby Iasi tried to kill himself on Friday morning by swallowing toxic substances. He told doctors that he wanted to become a start like Madalina Manole, the famous artist who took her life a few days ago, Ieseanul.ro informs. The information was confirmed for HotNews.ro by doctor Tudor Ciuhodaru, coordinator of the Emergency Unit at the Sf. Ioan Hospital in Iasi.
The man was stablized but he refused any further investigation as he had a violent behavior towards the doctors. He added that in the last three hours three youngsters of about 20 years old arrived at the Emergency unit after they tried to kill themselves. Their condition is not stable for the time being, the doctor said.
