An IMF mission, lead by Jeffrey Franks will arrive in Bucharest on Monday, July 26 to August 4 for the fifth evaluation of Romania's fulfillment of the Stand By Agreement, signed in May 29 Romanian news agency Agerpres informs. In the same time, a EC mission arrives in Bucharest.

IMF Romania and Bulgaria representative Tonny Lybek declared that the sixth instalment will be released based on the evaluation report of the stand by agreement, worth 769 million euro. The mission will have three main objectives: to analyze the 2010 budget modifications, discuss the 2011 budget and review fiscal and monetary policies.
