The World Health Organization announced on Tuesday the end of the swine flu, AH1N1, AFP informs. The world is no longer in the 6th stage of pandemic alert, WHO general director Margaret Chan declared.
Moreover, the organization rejected the accuzations that it acted at the command of pharmaceutical companies when the pandemic was instated. The swine flu, AH1N1 started in Mexico in April 2009 and spread rapidly across the world.
In Romania there were 6,177 cases and 85 deaths. At the global world, there were 18,449 deaths in 208 countries.
