Romania's General Prosecutor Koversi denied on Monday any involvement of the political in the file in which media mogul and businessman Sorin Ovidiu Vantu was temporary arrested for 29 days Kovesi declared that there were no political pressures or of other nature upon prosecutors, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs.

What appeared in the press are just excerpts from the arrest report set up by prosecutors, Kovesi said. Justice minister Catalin Predoiu declared that there is nothing new in the case and denied the information that Popa is in Romania.

Sorin Ovidiu Vantu has been arrested 4 days ago, a decision attacked by recourse. The recourse date will be set on Monday.
