US Ambassador to Bucharest, Mark Gitenstein declared on Wednesday that, in his opinion, in the first ten years after the Communist revolution, there were no changes in Romania, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. The diplomat claims that the health and education system are still not working. A good example of a functioning system is the Educational Complex Lauder Reut, Gitenstein said.

The revolution took place 20 years ago and my person opinion is that nothing has changed in the first ten years since the revolution, US Ambassador to Bucharest said.

Romania had just ten years to make the changes America made in 100 years, Gitenstein said. The American diplomat underlined that time is essential for changes and added that he is optimistic about this country.
