President Traian Basescu declared on Monday to the Interior ministry, as the new minister was swearing in that it is unacceptable that those who ought to defend the country destroy the state's symbols. He said that he expects a full report on the events and until he receives a report, he will not make use of the police escort. The President called on Thursday a meeting of the supreme defense council.
