At least 10,000 people are expected to attend a protest and a march in Bucharest today, organized by the National Union Block. At 12 PM, protesters will gather in the Victoriei Square.

Leader of the union block, Dumitru Costin declared that protesters will gather in Victoriei Square then move towards the Economy ministry, Agriculture ministry, Labor ministry, Interior ministry and the Health ministry.

This action sustains a series of demands for economic relaunch: infrastructure, energy, agriculture, Dumitru Costin explained. Another demand is for the minimum salary to increase to 750 lei.

Other protests are announced for October 5 and 7 when professors are expected on the streets. On October 7, all unions are expected to join forces and organize a protest in Bucharest.
