The motion of censure initiated by the opposition against the government will be presented on Wednesday in the Parliament. The text of the motion will be debated and voted on October 27, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs. Over 50,000 people threaten to protest on October 27 and a decision is expected in the following days.

The 209 Parliamentarians who signed the motion of censure consider that the current government needs to leave for at least 10 reasons. Some of them are that the government did not respect the governance program approved in the Parliament, or that they waged n economic war against the people.

Parliamentarians accuse that the government promised a series of measures necessary to sustain the business environment which were never implemented.

Union confederations announced that they might organize a common protest on October 27, the same day the motion of censure against the government is scheduled for debate and vote in the Parliament.

However, a decision has not been taken on the matter so far. CNSLR Fratia union leader Marius Petcu declared that he will prepare his members for a protest on that day. He said that all union leaders agreed with the idea.
