The "Most influential People Online" project organised on the margins of Webit - a key digital media event due to take place in Bulgaria next week - has come to an end. The project created a chart of "influencers" in the region - people who managed to motivate their network and online contacts to view their profile on the Webit page or to refer them for conference registration. Romania comes second among "influential CEE countries", according to a press release.

1735 influencers competed for the title most influential person in Webit Most Influential People Online Project
The Webit Most influential People Online has concluded. 1735 influencing people competed who is the most influential in CEE and within the countries.
The most influential Romanian is Andrei Dutu with 1611 points followed by Viorica Eftache, Ionut Oprea, Gabriel Gaina and N5 is Sorin Ionescu.
Based on the number of responses each participant aggregates the project selected those who can truly motivate their network and contacts to act upon their call.
The project generated more than 1,5 million impressions within less than 2 months - all of them coming from referring sites, social media and networks.
The project proved that influence is not the number of friends or followers once have in their contact lists but it is about behavior, motivation and well planned strategy and tactics.
At a special ceremony on 27 October 2010 at the official opening party of the biggest digital industry event of Central and Eastern Europe - Webit Expo & Conferences called Webit Ambassadors Night the top 5 most influential Romania shall be given the title Webit Consuls.
Webit Most Influential People Online in CEE is organized by the biggest international marketing, advertising and digital trade bodies unified under Webit Ambassadors Honorary Board.
