Talks with the IMF representatives and the Economy ministry centered on the problems of the public companies that currently monitored but a discussion to decrease the salaries within these companies was not tackled, Romania's representative to the IMF Mihai Tanasescu declared. He said that the idea of restructuring was not put on the table eiter.

Tanasescu said that talkswere related to the future of such companies, about the problems they are confronted and about the state's future plans. According to him, by September, the companies managed to fit their budgets and spending.

The IMF delegation will be present in Romania until November 1, to evaluate the agreement and to start preliminari discussions for a new agreement.
