PM Emil Boc denied on Friday that he planned to quit after the decisio of the Constitutional court to declare the law on education unconstitutional. However, he admitted that these are not the best days of his mandate, Romanian news agency Agerpres reads.

He said that he could not identify any misjudgement in the coalition regarding the law on education and said that the decision of the court will be commented in the books he will write when he will retire.

We are waiting for the court's motivation and we will take a decision afterwards. This law is extremely important for modernizing the Romanian educational system. If we postpone the adoption of this law it means we become accomplicies o the current state of the education system.
