The Executive will approve next week the law on the 2011 budget and the law on social insurance budget, the government's Spokesperson Ioana Muntean declared. According to Muntean, laws need to be discussed in the Social and Economic Council before they are adopted.

The government will also talk about new sums for maternal leaves and until next week, Muntean said that the government will consider all versions that appeared in the press.

IMF suggested to the Romanian government to decrease the maternal leave aid to 600-1000 lei and limit the leave to one year, sources from the government coalition declared. Leader of the minorities in the Parliament, Varujan Pambuccian said that the version proposed by minorities is to offer maternal leave for three years for 600/month.
