President Basescu urges the Parliament through a set of official letters sent to the two Speakers of the Parliament to urgently adopt the law on the unique salary scheme, public pensions, state budget and 50/2010 ordinance.
The promulgation of these laws represents an essential condition for Romania to successfully finish the IMF, EU and WB agreement, the letters read, quoted by Romanian news agency Agerpres. This shows that the Parliament has its independence to set its own schedule, but the debates and promulgation of these laws would mean an important step for Romania to comply with its obligations.
The letter is analyzed by the permanent office of the Chamber of Deputies.
