​The Chamber of Deputies decided that the debate on the case should be secret, on grounds that it would endanger the penal investigation of the prosecutors. The meeting was classified at the initiative of Hungarian Demorat Deputy Mate Andras and was voted by almost all members of the committees.

The delay of taking a decision in the Ridzi case wwas condemned by the Justice minister Catalin Predoiu and by the anti graft prosecutor's head Daniel Morar. The investigation revealed that about 600,000 euro were offered to several private companies without a public tender for the organization of a public event.
