Seven people involved in the investigation against police and customs officers from Timis and Caras Severin, suspected of corruption are wanted. Among them, Milan Gubic shift foreman at the Stamora Moravita Customs, judicial sources said, quoted by Romanian news agency Mediafax.
According to sources, the seven persons are wanted because they could not be found to be heard in the investigation against police and customs officials from Timis and Caras Severin, suspected of bribe tacking and favoring cigarettes smuggling in Serbia.
About 40 customs police officers and 20 customs officers were picked up by investigations in the massive raids that took place on Tuesday morning. Some of them were taken by helicopters back to Bucharest for hearings at the anti graft prosecutors HQ.
