Social Democrats threaten to submit a motion of censure after the Hungarian Democrats congress The Social Liberal Union, comprising the Liberals, Social Democrats and Conservatives plan to submit a motion of censure after the Hungarian Democrats congress scheduled for the end of February or after the congress of the Democratic Liberal Party, Social Democratic Vice President Constantin Nita told RFI.

He added that the Union is still open to an alliance with the Hungarian Democrats. The Union will never vote for a Prime Minister proposed by President Basescu, Nita said, adding that he does not agree with the social and economic policies of the governing party. The Union marches on the idea that the Hungarian Democrats will eventually leave Democratic Liberals and form an alliance with the Union.
