Foreign journalists, including Romanians leave Japan due to nuclear risks

More and more media organizations, including those in Romania withdraw their correspondents to Japan as the nuclear risk increases. Antena correspondent Carmen Avram is already back in the country and Realitatea TV correspondent Cosmin Stan was getting ready on Tuesday to return.  

Realitatea announced on Tuesday that journalist Cosmin Stan was getting ready to return. He was talking about the difficulties that people face as they are trying to reach Tokyo Narita International airport. At her turn, Antena journalist Carmen Avram returned in Romania on Monday night, Antena 3 representatives declared for HotNews.ro. 

According to them, the television channel decided that the safety of the journalist is of the utmost importance. HotNews.ro information report that Adevarul leadership will take a decision on Tuesday whether to withdraw correspondents Vlad Ilina and Catalin Catoiu. According to The Guardian, foreign journalists at Fukushima, including those of CNN and BBC withdrew from the area. On Monday Der Spiegel decided to recall its correspondent at Tokyo.
