The government discussed a draft of a normative act introducing unique salaries in the educational system so that those who won in court a 50% increase will not be able to benefit of the money, PM Boc declared after a meeting. According to him, some professors won in court an increase of salaries while others did not. By the adoption of the new normative act, salaries of those who won in court will be equal to the other professors. PM Boc said the government might even take responsibility for the draft in the Parliament. Romania cannot afford to pay a 50% increase in the salaries of professors, Boc said.
He added that due to some judiciary practices, some were allowed a 50% increase while others were not, Boc said.
