Bucharest court judges sentenced former PSD deputy Emilian Cutean to five years of prison, accused by anti-graft prosecutors that it initiated a governmental decision in 2004 approving over 300,000 lei to the Revolutionaries Association Club 22 which he founded it and presided, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs.

Moreover the court decided that after he executes the punishment Cutean has no right to occupy a public position for three years. In the same file, Daniela Zbarcea, economic director under the leadership of Cutean at the State Secretariat for the Problems of Revolutionaries was sentenced to three years of prison with six year supervision. The decision is not final, it can be appealed.
