Indonesian President signed the expatriation degree of Romanian fugitive Nicolae Popa and he will be taken over by Romanian authorities in 30 days, official sources declared on Wednesday for Romanian news agency Mediafax. Indonesian Embassy to Bucharest declared, on March 9th that the Justice Ministry in Indonesia finished the file on Nicolae Popa and that papers were forwarded to the President who is to sign a decree.

Former director of Gelsor, Nicolae Popa was arrested on December 2009 by authorities in Jakarta, Indonesia for his 15 year prison sentence ruled in Romania in 2006 by the Bucharest Court. Nicolae Popa was director of the Gelsor group and member of Sov Invest, the company managing FNI which left thousands of Romanians bankrupt.
