German President Christian Wulff was attacked with eggs, on Thursday, during a visit at Wiesbaden, in West Germany, Telegraph informs. According to the Bild publication, the attacker is a Romanian lving in Germany identified as Adrian V., aged 48. He was arrested by German police officers shortly after the incident.
Wulff just arrived in Wiesdbaden and was welcomed by the crowds when Adrian V. started throwing eggs towards the German leader and Christian Democrat Volker Bouffier. Even though security forces tried to protect the officials, they have been touched by the eggs. Security forces and police officers arrested the man.
German President said after the incident that he requested to have security measures diminished, to be closer to the citizens.
