The IMF postponed for Monday the first evaluation of the new stand by agreement signed with Romania following the death of Jeffrey Franks’ father and the IMF chief of mission in Romania will be on leave until Saturday, Romania’s representative to the IMF Mihai Tanasescu declared for HotNews.ro.

He will not attend the next mission of the IMF in Romania scheduled at the end of July but will come back in the country in mid August. The stand by agreement between Romania and the IMF started on March 31, 2011 and is a precautionary agreement of 3.6 billion euro.
