Romanians in Italy and San Marino are complain of the bad organization of voting polls in the two countries for Romania's first European Parliament elections due to take place this weekend. The Romanian voting station in Padova has no address or telephone number listed on the Foreign Ministry’s website.
The Romanians Party in Italy said it was disappointed by the fact that Romanians in the Diaspora will not be properly represented on the electoral lists.
The Romanian Embassy in Rome released on Saturday, November 17 a press release regarding the organization of Romania's European elections in Italy and San Marino on November 25.
Romanians will be able to vote in Rome, Milan, Turin, Florence, Asolo -Treviso, Genoa, Bari and San Marino. There is address specified for Padova.
The voting schedule in Italy for Sunday, November 25: from 7 am to 9 pm for the European Parliament elections and from 8 am to 8 pm for the referendum on the introduction of uninominal voting in Romania. Romanian citizens wishing to vote can present at the poll with a valid ID.
