A European Commission study shows that Romanian citizens are most sensible at the price of alcohol. Thus, 50% of the Romanians declare they would drink less if the price of alcohol would rise considerably.

On the other hand, however, more than a fifth of the Romanians would buy more alcohol if its price would drop.

Romanian’s behavior is similar to that of Bulgarians but different of the Hungarians - as only a third of them declared they would drink less if the alcohol would be more expensive, informs BBC, quoted by Rador.
