The number of Romanian tourists that visited Bulgaria during the first nine months of 2007 increased 113.5%, compared to the first three quarters in 2006, statistic data of the Bulgarian government indicate, news.bg informs.

According to the data, some 613,500 Romanians visited Bulgaria, making Romania the main tourists providing country for the Bulgarian industry.

Romanians are followed, as "density" by Greeks - 558,400 tourists, Germans - 562,000 and British - 404,600. From the Eastern and Central Europe, most visitors come from the Czech Republic - 149,800, Poland - 131,700 and Ukraine - 89,100.
