Romanians wishing to enter the United States and who cannot obtain a legal visa make more and more use of Mexican ''coyotes'' - or border-crossing guides, an option reserved so far only for Latin American countries.

The phenomenon seems to become appealing for Romanians who want to get in the United States at any cost.

Several illegal immigrants from Romania confirmed for HotNews.ro that they took advantage of this option after they were refused a legal entrance. Moreover, since Romanians now do not need a visa to enter Mexico, it is easier.

However, apart from the 4,000-dollar fare for the ‘’’Mexican guide’’, there are environmental dangers - such as the Mexican Sonora desert and the peril to get caught.

Despite all perils, Romanians are confident that this is the best solution since they manage to earn a lot in the States, just enough to cover all the expenses and have a decent living.
