The right-wing Bulgarian opposition submitted a censure motion against the leftist government led by Serghei Stanisev on Monday to sanction its education policies and the way it has dealt with the professor’s protests for the past several weeks, Novinite.com informs.

Opposition parties acted after a deadline given to the government to reach an understanding with education trade unions expired on Sunday.

The motion was signed by 63 MPs. Novinite.com argues that the motion would most probably fail considering that the current government holds a comfortable majority of 167 out of the total 240 seats in the Bulgarian Parliament.
