Romanian meteorologists issued a new yellow code warning on Tuesday announcing cold weather and strong winds across most of the country starting Wednesday. They said on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will gradually worsen in the Western regions. Air temperatures will decrease to about 8 to 10 degrees Celsius below the average temperature for the period.

The wind will intensify in all regions, especially on Wednesday and Friday, with a speed of 60-65 km/hour.

Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be extremely unstable, and heavy rains will hit most regions across Romania.
