The Meteorology Center in the South East region issued a yellow code warning for Constanta on Monday. According to the experts, the storms forecast, could lead to abundant rains and strong winds.
The areas expected to be affected by heavy rain are Negru-Voda, Eforie Nord, Mangalia, Vama Veche and the border with Bulgaria in far SE Romania.
By noon on Monday, the only threat reported was a risk that the main road linking the port cities of Constanta and Mangalia would be flooded somewhere around the town of Tuzla, but traffic was normal there, according to TV news reports.
