Steaua Bucharest, the only Romanian team to qualify for Champions League was placed in Champions League Group H in a UEFA ceremony at Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo on Thursday. Steaua was placed in the same group with Arsenal London, Slavia Prague and the future winner between FC Sevilla and AEK Athens.

The game between the Spanish and the Greeks was postponed due to the death of Sevilla player Antonio Puerto.

Steaua officials said they wish to play against a Spanish team, preferably FC Barcelona.

The Champions League matches will be played on September 18/19, October 2/3, October 23/24, November 6/7, November 27/28, December 11/12.
