The Emergency Centre within the Environment Ministry withdrawn on Sunday all orange code warnings, but maintained an yellow-code alert for 29 counties. Starting on Monday morning, the warning will include only 26 counties.

The main risks refer to floods, land slides and fast high floods on mountain slopes. The yellow code was instated almost exclusively in Transylvania.

The alert is maintained in the counties of Maramures, Satu Mare, Bistrita Nasaud, Salaj, Bihor, Cluj, Arad, Alba, Hunedoara, Timis, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti, Gorj, Dolj, Valcea, Olt, Arges, Dambovita, Prahova, Mures, Sibiu, Harghita, Brasov, Covasna, Suceava, Neamt, Bacau, Vrancea and Buzau.

Meteorologists announce that there are no flood perils in the country even though the weather remains unstable. Temperatures will range between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius while in Bucharest maximums will reach 30 degrees Celsius.
