Iuliu Winkler is the new Communications and Information Technology minister, replacing suspended minister Zsolt Nagy. The announcement was made on Thursday by Marko Bela, head of the Hungarians' Democratic Union (UDMR), both Winkler and Nagy's political formation.
Bela mentioned that Winkler will still remain on the party's lists for European elections.
Former IT&C Minister, Zsolt Nagy, was suspended in June after details were unveiled about his possible implication in an espionage file referring to strategic energy-related privatizations.
