Strong winds and heavy rains hit Bucharest on Wednesday evening, several streets being flooded in less than 30 minutes. Several trees were torn from the ground and caused severe damages to the cars parked nearby.

In Central Romania, the county of Harghita was hit by a strong hail storm which destroyed several roofs and left 20 villages without electricity. In several areas, the agriculture terrain saw its crops totally compromised.

The road between the cities of Miercurea Ciuc and Comanesti is covered with a 10 centimeters layer of ice.

Update: A man was killed in Bucharest and a train derailed because of the storm later in the evening
