Romanian exporters reported losses amounting to 200 million euro in June due to the appreciation of Romanian currency RON against the euro during the period, Mihai Ionescu, president of the National Association of Romanian Exporters said on Thursday, quoted by NewsIn.

Moreover, Mihai Ionescu claims that Romanian exporters risk bankruptcy due to the RON appreciation and the budget rectification which did not set aside money for investments programs.

Ionescu warns that if no financial intervention was to be taken, there would be serious repercussions upon the whole Romanian economy.
