A new, full of energy generation of Romanian business, society and government leaders will open the door to a future full of opportunities for all Romanians, said Nicholas Taubman, US ambassador to Romania, in a message addressed to Romanians, one day before the 4th of July.

The ambassador also issued some warnings referring to the Romanian politicians.

A few months after speaking about the concern the political instability raised among American investors (just before the referendum for suspending president Basescu from the office), Taubman declared, on a rather moderate tone, that the corruption must be fought wherever it is found and that there is a plenty of corruption to fight in Romania.

In an interview for the national public TV station, Taubman also emphasized the fact that this is a country for all Romanians, not only for politicians and special interests.
