Starting with July, hotel prices on the Romanian seaside rise by almost 20%, newspapers inform. Moreover, cigarettes and household appliances will at their turn cost more.

Seaside hotels raise their tariffs by over 20% as it was announced during contracting periods with tourism agencies last year. The highest price boosts for hotel accomodation on Romania's Black Sea coast will be set between July 16 - August 20.

As of Sunday, July 1st, Romanians will also pay more on household appliances due to a green tax imposed on such commodities.

Cigarettes do not miss their chance either and get 20% more expensive. The minimum threshold for cigarettes is established at the EU level and it assumes its constant variations so that its value to reach, in 2010, 74 Euros.
