Romania’s National Administration of Meteorology has announced that the yellow code warning is still up for the coming days. Monday and Tuesday afternoon, air temperature will maintain between 35 to 38 degrees Celsius throughout the country.

The most affected Romanian counties on Monday will be those in the South and the South - West regions.

Meteorologists warn that the temperature-humidity indicator will reach and override the critical threshold of 80. Temperature discomfort will remain during night time as well, when temperatures in South-West and South Romania will stay around 20 degrees Celsius

This is the third meteorological warning issued by specialists in a week.
