The National Reference Strategic Center, the "umbrella" document for programs employing structural funds, was approved in Brussels.
European commissioner Danuta Hubner and PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu will sign the document on July 12, said the manager in charge with the Structural Instrument, Razvan Cotovelea, for "euROfonduri".
The Romanian official mentioned that Romania counts among the first five countries in EU in approving the "Strategic Frame". "It is the first stage, the obligatory one, in order to approve Operational Programs", said Cotovelea.
