A left-wing politician in Italy, Filippo Penati, demands the introduction of a visa system for Romanians and Bulgarians, in order to stop the incoming immigrants flow towards his country, Novinite.com informs.

Filippo Penati demanded the government to open negotiations with Romania and Bulgaria in order to introduce a moratoria on their citizens' access to Italy.

"In case we don't stop this flow now, it will become uncontrollable. We barely manage to take care of 100 immigrants and another 1,000 show up in Italy. It's like trying to empty the sea with a teaspoon", said Penati, also accusing a large number of crimes committed by immigrants in Northern Italy and mainly in Milan.
