Gaz de France may soon sell natural gas extracted in Azerbaijan in Romania and Italy, said Alain Azouaou, Gaz de France general manager, during a meeting with the Azeri Economy Minister.

According to APA, the company representative declared that Gaz de France holds the infrastructure required in order to provide natural gas to Romania and Italy.

According to Alain Azouaou, Gaz de France already sells to both countries some 8 billion cubic meters of gas every year.

In Romania, Gaz de France holds the Distrigaz Sud gas distribution company, privatized in 2005 for 310.4 million euros.
