After the agreement signed on Thursday by Italy and Germany, the garbage crisis seems to have reached an end. After meeting the Italian ambassador to Bucharest, Daniele Mancini, Romanian environment minister, Attila Korodi, announced that Romania will not import and domestic waste from Naples.

The Italian media speculated during the past few days that it is possible for the Naples city hall to get rid of its city-suffocating garbage by sending it to Romanian dumps.
