The Renault Group reported sales amounting to 806,004 vehicles under the brands of Renault, Dacia (Romania) and Renault Samsung Motors - in the first four months of 2007, 4.1% less than the same period last year, a company press release says. In Romania, the group sold 35,852 units during the period, 27,655 of which were Dacia vehicles.
A total of 673,063 cars were sold during the period, 4.8% less than the same period last year, while the number of utility vehicle sales dropped 0.5% to 132,645 units.
In April, Renault sold 208,578 vehicles, down 4.8% than the same month last year.
