Dan Daniel Porumb, one of the four Romanian troops wounded in an accident in Iraq on Saturday, is in critical condition, doctors at the German hospital he’s been sent to announced on Tuesday. Porumb will undergo surgery in the coming days, the Romanian Defense Ministry announced for its part.
The Romanian solider was diagnosed with spine injuries. According to doctors at the US military base in Rammstein, Germany, he was in a critical but stable condition today.
The four Romanian soldiers were wounded in the Dhi War region in Iraq on Saturday when their personnel carrier crashed off the road during a patrol operation.
